All Sorts of Stripes Handloom Cotton
This fantastic handwoven cotton fabric has got me so inspired! Midnight blue stripes of varying widths are arrayed across the fabric, with one bold stripe of lighter blue thrown in. Made of soft khadi (hand-spun) cotton, light weight (but not too light) with a rustic texture, the fabric has a superb drape and is just slightly translucent in the white sections.
Make a lively striped circle skirt, or this year’s best striped dress, Vogue 9357, or a dashing shirt for a gent; stitched up in this fabric, even the simplest pattern will look anything but. Whatever you make, you will have fun planning the stripe arrangement. Stripes run parallel to the selvedge.
