White Diamonds Handloom Jamdani Linen/Cotton
Something special happens when linen and cotton join together, as this handwoven jamdani fabric shows! The nubbly touch and characteristic drape of linen give it great charm, while the handspun cotton provides an airy softness.
A bold border of jamdani diamonds woven with black and white threads highlights one side of this fabric. The rest of the fabric sports a fine black windowpane check, finishing with a narrow black selvedge on the opposite side. Use the diamond border around the bottom of a simple skirt or tunic, on yokes or cuffs, or right down the center front seam of the Remy Raglan Top from Sew House 7!
The diamond border measures almost 5 inches wide, and the grid lines are about 2 inches apart. Some garments may need to be lined.
