Corded Stripe Handloom Cotton
Thick white threads create corded stripes running across this handloom cotton fabric. The stripes are set against a dark grey background made of black and white threads woven together, while subtle weaving irregularities which give character to the cloth.
The fabric itself is light weight and almost sheer, but heavy threads give it quite a bit of body. Make an airy circle skirt with the stripes going all the way from one side to the other! The fabric can also be cut with the stripes running vertically if you prefer. Some garments may need to be lined.
Stripes measure about 1/2 inch apart.
