Coral Stripes Shibori Silk/Cotton
A shibori border on coral silk/cotton. The hand-dyed stripes cover about a third of the fabric width; place them around the hem of a garment or asymmetrically to one side. Sheer fabric with a lightly crisp drape and silky sheen, similar to organza but with a cottony touch. (The needle holes will close up once the fabric is washed.) Make a boxy blouse to layer.
43 inches wide
Care: hand wash separately in cool water and line dry in shade, or dry-clean.
Colors may bleed in the first few washes: you may wish to use a dye fixative or a handful of salt. Always test first!
Due to the hand-dyeing process, this fabric comes in a maximum length of 3 yards; orders of more than 3 yards will consist of multiple pieces of fabric.
Please note: this fabric is dyed by hand and every yard is slightly different. Your piece will resemble what is shown here, but will be unique and wonderful.
Order fabric in half-yard increments. For example, to order 1.5 yards of fabric, enter the quantity “3” in the box.
