Chanderi is a lovely fabric, unlike anything available in the US. It’s quite sheer and slightly stiff like silk organza, but has a cottony touch and drape. Ivory cotton/silk blend (or possibly cotton/rayon) with white and metallic woven palmettes. Unique and wonderful for both garments and home decor, the fabric is also dyeable. There is writing on the selvedge in a few places. Motifs are about 5/8 inch wide.
