This gorgeous silk and linen blend is glossy and slightly stiff, like organza. Semi-sheer with an undyed ivory-colored tussar silk warp and a finely slubbed linen weft. Reminiscent of shantung, it's not handwoven, but has a similar character to our handloom fabrics.
Sew a fantastically floaty Float On Top by Forest & Thread or a polished Patina Blouse from Friday Pattern Co. It will also make beautiful translucent curtains that let the texture shine through. (Some garments may need to be lined.)
