New Vintage 1960s Ivory Silk Sari

This beautiful vintage silk sari has never been worn. Made of glossy silk with a crisp hand like taffeta, it was handwoven with golden metallic threads on dark cream color. The endpiece is elaborately brocaded with a floral design, and small flowers dot the body of the sari.

A timeless style most likely from Varanasi, the traditional silk weaving center of North India. New old stock circa 1950s/60s with original tags. It has a few sprinklings of age spots, but is otherwise in good condition.
