Blue Banarasi Silk Sari with Brocade Borders

A classic sari from Varanasi, the traditional silk weaving center of North India. This is a less formal style with a solid blue body set off by soft brocade borders and endpiece in golden-colored silk. Made of silk habutai, a glossy, semi-sheer fabric much like china silk.
This has been worn but is in good condition with a few small spots. Hem lining attached. Matching small blouse included.
