Almond Handloom Cotton Silk
This fabric is the bee's knees! Made of handwoven cotton paired with ghicha silk, it has a super soft, silken touch and fluid drape, yet handles more like cotton. The natural texture and undyed color of the silk are pure wabi-sabi luxury. Pair it with the Envelope Dress from Criswood Sews for a fantastic un-basic, or use it as a layer of Sew Liberated's Metamorphic Dress.
Ghicha silk is a beautiful textile by-product made from damaged tussar (wild silk) cocoons. Due to the slightly open weave, some garments may need to be lined.
