Shell Pink Stripe Jamdani Cotton

A pale peachy-pink handwoven cotton with a super-soft hand and a great drape. Bands of single-thread stripes alternate with jamdani-weave flowers in two shades of blue and naturally brown undyed silk. Feather-weight and fairly sheer, with two different selvedges. Make airy skirts and dresses, whether plain or fancy — Dhurata Davies' simple Rea Top or Silversaga's Celeste. (Some garments may need to be lined.) Stripe/floral repeat measures about 9 inches long.
