A yarn-dyed twill, very, very dark blue, this is a serious fabric for denim lovers. (Though it's not traditional denim; shall we say denim-esque?). Surprisingly soft, it's dense and slightly thick with a canvas-like character. It also has a bit of drape due to the handwoven, hand-spun cotton yarns.
Make the ultimate chore jacket with the Julien Jacket pattern from Ready To Sew. This fabric has no stretch and is not recommended for tight-fitting garments. The color is darker than it appears in the photos, with occasional hints of the white reverse showing on the face of the fabric.
