This gloriously rustic handloom cotton fabric, in the palest possible grey, simply makes me swoon! Black slubs and nubs in the hand-spun yarn give it a tweedy look and texture. A trifle heavier than most of our handlooms, this is a shirting or dress weight with some body that will lend shape to garments. I can’t wait to make something with it — will it be the Box Pleat Dress from Assembly Line patterns, or their Three Pleat Skirt? (Some garments may need to be lined.)
