This fabric is so beautiful, and was so difficult to photograph! Herringbone and twill weave alternate in subtle stripes that are revealed when caught by the light. The unbleached cotton is in its natural color, a warm off-white; rustic yet refined. (Try dyeing it, too!)
Handwoven from incredibly soft cotton and sprinkled with tiny bits of plant material, the fabric resembles vanilla-bean ice cream and is just as delicious! It’s thicker than most of our handloom fabrics but still has a lively drape and movement due to the twill weave. Make a cozy shirt, wide-legged trousers (may need to be lined), or an all-natural baby sling. Or how about the Cambria Duster from Friday Pattern Co.?
Stripes run across the width of the fabric and are about 3/4 inch wide.
