Here’s a beautiful basic with a delightful difference: this twill is a handwoven blend of linen and cotton. It has that special body and drape that only linen can provide, combined with a soft cottony touch. The reverse side of the fabric has a nubby linen texture which is also appealing. Off-white, in a lighter mid-weight.
Make a groovy bag, a loosely draped trouser or skirt, or the fabulous Wrap Jacket pattern from The Assembly Line. It would also be a wonderful base fabric for hand embroidery!
