Handloom Silken Muslin

An exquisite handwoven blend of silk and cotton. It's diaphanous but not as translucent as our Gossamer fabric, and has a more cotton-y touch. Compared to the Fine Bengal Muslin, it's a bit heavier and has a slightly silken sheen due to the silk warp.

Creamy off-white and fairly transparent, with a soft fluttering drape. Make yourself a Fortuny-inspired gown, dye it for featherweight scarves, or use it for luxurious linings or underlayers. Some garments will need to be lined.

Order fabric in half-yard increments. For example, to order 1.5 yards of fabric, enter the quantity “3” in the box.
