Stripes of spearmint green and strawberry pink in varying widths are arrayed across this handwoven off-white fabric, with a highlight of pale yellow towards one side. Make a lively striped circle skirt or a cheerful camp shirt; stitched up in this fabric, even the simplest pattern will look anything but. Play with the stripes by using directional cutting, or fold some of the stripes out in pleats which open to reveal the contrasting colors!
Made of soft khadi cotton with a rustic texture, it's light weight and slightly translucent. Stripes run parallel to the selvedge, and the solid-colored stripes are about 3.25 inches wide. Some garments may need to be lined.
I'm still dreaming of making a great striped dress with Vogue 9357, but you can see another project made with a similar fabric here!
